The Mediterranean Sea is an important ecological area for the unique diversity of life hosted in its waters, the high number of
endemic species, and critical areas for the reproduction of pelagic species. For example, the Mediterranean encompasses the main
spawning grounds of the Atlantic bluefin tuna, unique breeding areas of the great white shark, and sea turtles such as loggerhead and green turtles regularly nest along the eastern shores.

Ya Hamamy (O, My Pigeons) is a song by the famous Algerian Raï singer Cheb Mami. The song was originally performed by the legendary Algerian singer Mohamed Tahar El-Fergani who was a pioneer in the Ma’louf music.
Ma’louf is a genre of art music in the Andalusian classical music which is very popular in North Africa especially in Tunisia.

Flamenco is a song by the legendary Dalida in Italian. Dalida was an Egyptian born singer of Italian origin who lived most of her life in France. This song was first aired on the Italian TV in 1966. Later in 1997 her brother produced a remix of this song adding some Arabic instruments and words to the song. This version of the song carries 4 different Mediterranean cultures; Italian, Egyptian, Spanish and was performed by a French music icon.

On 27 June 2008 Tony Blair and The °Climate Group launched the ‘A Global Deal for Our Low Carbon Future’, the first report from the Breaking the Climate Deadlock initiative.
The report sets out 10 key building blocks for a post-2012 international climate change agreement that would create a prosperous, low carbon, climate-resilient world.
